Himachal Pradesh State Co-operative Bank Ltd. (HPSCB) has released detailed instructions for recruitment of 91 Junior Clerk posts on regular basis through IBPS, Mumbai. These posts are reserved for PACS/OCS quota candidates connected with cooperative societies in Himachal Pradesh. No interview will be held; final selection will be based on online exam marks after document verification.

Vacancy Breakdown by Quota

• PACS Quota: 74 posts for trained secretaries of Primary Agricultural Credit Societies of Himachal Pradesh
• OCS Quota: 17 posts for employees of Other Cooperative Societies of Himachal Pradesh and eligible PACS employees not covered as trained secretaries

Who Can Apply?

For PACS Quota

• Qualification: You must be a graduate in any discipline from a recognised university.
• HP schooling rule: You should have passed Matriculation and 10+2 from a school or institution in Himachal Pradesh. This does not apply to Bonafide Himachalis.
• Experience: You need at least 3 years continuous service as Secretary of a Primary Agricultural Credit Society.
• Status: Trained Secretaries of PACS are covered under this quota.
• Defaulter rule: You should not be directly or indirectly a defaulter of your society.

For OCS Quota

• Qualification: You must be a graduate in any discipline from a recognised university.
• HP schooling rule: Matriculation and 10+2 from Himachal Pradesh school/institution is required unless you are a Bonafide Himachali.
• Experience: You need at least 5 years continuous service in a cooperative society.
• Status: Employees of OCS and PACS employees not covered as trained secretaries can apply under this quota.
• Defaulter rule: You should not be directly or indirectly a defaulter of your society.

Age Limit

• You should be above 18 years and below 45 years as on 01 January 2026.
• Eligible date of birth range: 02 January 1981 to 01 January 2008, both dates included.
• SC / ST / OBC / Physically Handicapped / WFF: 5 years relaxation where applicable.
• Ex-Servicemen: Relaxation as per the rules stated in the notification, with present age generally less than 58 years.
• Important: Reservation and age relaxation benefits apply only to Bonafide Himachali candidates where the post is earmarked for that category.

Salary

• Post: Junior Clerk
• Minimum pay: Rs. 19,900 per month
• Pay level: Level 2
• Estimated Level 2 pay range: Rs. 19,900 to Rs. 63,200 per month
• You will also get admissible allowances as per bank rules.

Application Fee

• General / OBC of HP: Rs. 1,000
• EWS of HP: Rs. 800
• SC / ST / IRDP / BPL / Antodaya of HP: Rs. 800
• Female candidates of all HP categories: Rs. 800
• Payment mode: Online payment through the IBPS application portal.
• The fee is non-refundable. Bank transaction charges must be paid by the candidate.

Selection Process

The selection process has two main stages and there is no personal interview.

1. Online Examination: Objective online exam conducted by IBPS for 150 marks.
2. Document Verification: Candidates up to 1.75 times the vacant posts will be called for scrutiny of documents.
3. Final Merit: Final selection will be based on online exam marks after verifying eligibility and documents.

Minimum qualifying marks: You need at least 40% overall marks in the online examination to be shortlisted for document verification.

How to Apply

1. Go to the IBPS registration portal at ibpsreg.ibps.in/hpscbmar26.
2. Click on New Registration and complete the basic registration details.
3. Fill in the Junior Clerk online application form carefully.
4. Upload scanned photograph, signature, left thumb impression and handwritten declaration.
5. Pay the application fee online between 09 May 2026 and 29 May 2026.
6. Submit the form and keep the application printout and payment receipt for document verification.
7. Check hpscb.bank.in and the IBPS portal for call letter and exam updates.

Document preparation: The notification gives special importance to experience proof. Keep the Inspector-issued and Assistant Registrar-countersigned experience certificate, managing committee resolution, and audit-report pages ready because false experience details can lead to cancellation even after qualifying the online exam.
