Himachal Pradesh State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission (HPSCDRC), Shimla is filling one Senior Scale Stenographer post (Group-C) under the Himachal Pradesh State Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission Rules, 2024, framed under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019. The Commission is the state-level appellate body that hears consumer disputes appealed from the District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commissions, and its stenographic staff support the recording and drafting of orders and judgments. This post is filled from among serving stenographic staff — only Junior Scale Stenographers, Steno-Typists, and Judgment Writers already working in the HP High Court, the District Judiciary, or a Government/Semi-Government establishment in the state can apply, provided they have the required feeder-category service. The number of posts is provisional and may change based on the Commission's actual requirement.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Feeder category: Only Junior Scale Stenographers, Steno-Typists, or Judgment Writers with 5 years of regular service (or regular combined with continuous ad hoc service) in the feeder category are eligible.
• Posting liability: Selected candidate(s) can be posted anywhere in Himachal Pradesh, including the District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commissions.
• Provisional posts: The number of vacancies is provisional and may vary depending on the Commission's actual requirement.
• Application fee: The fee once paid is non-refundable under any circumstances.
