Gurugram University, a State Government University in Haryana, has issued Advertisement No. CT-2-11/2026 for Assistant Professor engagement in different disciplines. Who Can Apply?

Basic Teaching Eligibility

• Master's degree: You need a Master's degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade in the concerned, relevant, or allied subject from an Indian university or equivalent foreign university.
• NET/SLET/SET: You should have cleared NET conducted by UGC/CSIR or a similar accredited test like SLET/SET.
• Ph.D. exemption: Candidates awarded Ph.D. as per UGC regulations may be exempted from NET/SLET/SET as per the notification conditions.
• Foreign Ph.D. route: A Ph.D. from a relevant foreign university in the top 500 world rankings may also be considered as per the notice.

Other Conditions

• Citizenship: You must be a citizen of India.
• Hindi/Sanskrit: You must have studied Hindi or Sanskrit as one subject at Matric or higher level.
• Good academic record: The university will apply the good academic record rules and relaxations described in the notice.

Selection Process
