Gujarat Urban Development Mission (GUDM) Recruitment 2026 - 12 Posts

Gujarat Urban Development Mission (GUDM), Gandhinagar has released a notification for 12 contractual posts spanning technical, IT, finance and planning roles. GUDM works on urban infrastructure, e-governance and development schemes across Gujarat's municipalities. The recruitment covers six different positions with experience requirements ranging from 3 to 15 years, aimed at experienced professionals from government and private sectors. Of the 12 posts, ten are technical or planning roles, one is in IT and one is in accounts and finance. All positions are purely contractual for an initial period of 11 months, based at GUDM's office in Karamyogi Bhavan, Gandhinagar. Candidates with prior government or semi-government sector experience will get preference.

Who Can Apply?

Dy. General Manager (Tech.) - Rs. 1,25,000/month:

• You need B.E./B.Tech (Civil)/Planning with 15 years' experience, or M.E./M.Tech (Civil)/Planning with 12 years' experience.

Dy. General Manager (IT) - Rs. 1,25,000/month:

• You need B.E./B.Tech (Computer/IT/ICT/E&C) with 10 years' experience, or MCA/MBA (IT) with 8 years' experience in e-governance, IT systems, digital transformation, IEC and government projects.

Manager (Tech.) - Rs. 1,00,000/month:

• You need a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering/Planning with 10 years' experience, or a Bachelor's plus Master's degree with at least 8 years' experience in water supply, sewerage, road, building, energy, planning, heritage infrastructure or transport projects. Government sector experience is preferred.

Dy. Manager (Tech.) - Rs. 75,000/month:

• You need a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering/Planning with 8 years' experience, or a Bachelor's plus Master's degree with 5 years' experience in similar infrastructure projects. Government sector experience is preferred.

Dy. Manager (Account) - Rs. 75,000/month:

• You need M.Com/MBA (Finance) with 8 years' experience, or B.Com with 10 years' experience in a similar field.

Urban Planner - Rs. 55,000/month:

• You need a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering/B.Tech (Civil)/B.Plan and a Master's in Urban Planning with 3 years' experience. Water supply/sewerage project experience in government sector is preferred.

Only your post-qualification experience counts towards these requirements, and you must have basic computer and MS Office knowledge for all posts. Your educational qualification must be from a government-recognized university or institute.

Salary

• Selected candidates will get a fixed monthly remuneration ranging from Rs. 55,000 to Rs. 1,25,000, depending on the post.
• This is a consolidated contractual pay and not a regular government pay scale, so no separate DA/HRA is mentioned.

Selection Process

The selection will be done in the following stages:

1. Shortlisting: Only eligible candidates will be shortlisted based on qualification and experience.
2. Interview: You must appear at the interview centre mentioned in the advertisement, at your own cost and risk. GUDM is not responsible for any injury or loss during this process.
3. Document Verification: You will need to show your original documents at the time of the interview.

2. Print the form on A4-size paper and fill it in by hand.
3. Paste a recent self-attested passport-size photo on the form.
4. Attach self-attested copies of all required documents in chronological order.
5. Send the filled application by Registered Post (RPAD), Speed Post or Courier to GUDM, Karamyogi Bhavan, Gandhinagar.
6. Clearly write the name of the post applied for on the envelope.
7. Make sure your application reaches GUDM by 21 August 2026.
