Goalpara Mission Shakti Multi-Post Recruitment 2026

The District Social Welfare Officer (DSWO), Goalpara is hiring for 3 posts - Case Worker, Counsellor and Security Guard - at the One Stop Centre, Mission Shakti, Goalpara on a purely temporary and contractual basis. These are walk-in-interview based positions, so there is no written exam. The walk-in interview will be held on 28 July 2026 at the One Stop Centre, Birchilaray Path, Goalpara. Salary ranges from Rs. 12,000 to Rs. 25,000 per month depending on the post.

Goalpara One Stop Centre (Mission Shakti) Recruitment 2026 - 3 Posts

The Government of Assam's Mission Shakti scheme runs One Stop Centres across districts to support women affected by violence with medical, legal, police and psychological assistance under one roof. The Office of the District Social Welfare Officer, Goalpara (Notice No. DSWO(G)733/2025-26/14 dated 16 July 2026) is filling Case Worker, Counsellor and Security Guard posts at its One Stop Centre through a walk-in interview - no online application is needed. The Case Worker and Counsellor posts are reserved for women candidates.

Who Can Apply?

For Case Worker (Reserved for Women):

• You need a Bachelor's degree in Law, Social Work, Sociology, Social Science or Psychology with at least 3 years' experience working on women-related issues in a government or non-government project.
• You should be a resident of the local community so that local knowledge helps the centre function effectively.

For Counsellor (Reserved for Women):

• You need a professional degree or diploma in Psychology, Psychiatry or Neurosciences with a background in the health sector, preferably with 3 years' experience in a government or NGO health project at the district level.

For Security Guard:

• You need at least 2 years' experience as security personnel in a government or reputed organisation at district/state level.
• Preference will be given to retired military or paramilitary personnel.

Age Limit

• You should be between 21 and 40 years old as on 01 January 2026.
• Age Relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST(H)/ST(P) candidates, 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates, and 10 years for Persons with Disability (PwD).

Salary

• Case Worker: Rs. 25,000 per month
• Counsellor: Rs. 25,000 per month
• Security Guard: Rs. 12,000 per month

Selection Process (Walk-in Interview - No Written Exam)

There is no written test for these posts. Selection is based directly on a walk-in interview:

1. Document Verification: Bring original testimonials and self-attested copies to the venue.
2. Walk-in Interview: Conducted by the Selection Committee at the venue itself.

Any matter not covered in the advertisement will be decided by the Selection Committee. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.

How to Apply

1. Fill the Standard Application Form (Assam Gazette Part IX).
2. Collect 2 copies of your latest passport-size photograph and self-attested copies of your certificates.
3. Bring your HSLC Admit Card, HSLC/HS Certificate and Marksheets, Last Qualification Marksheet, Work Experience Certificate, Voter ID/Aadhaar Card and Caste Certificate (PwD certificate if applicable).
4. Report to the One Stop Centre, Birchilaray Path, near Goalpara Town Outpost, Goalpara on 28 July 2026 between 9:30 AM and 11:30 AM.

• Handle case management and support for women survivors of violence at the centre
• Provide counselling and psychological first-aid to women and children in distress
• Coordinate with police, hospitals, and legal aid services for referrals and follow-up
• Maintain confidential case records and prepare periodic case reports
• Support survivors in accessing medical, legal, and shelter assistance
• Monitor visitor entry/exit and maintain security of the centre premises
• Assist the Centre Administrator with daily operations of the One Stop Centre
