Gliders India Limited (GIL), a Ministry of Defence public sector enterprise in Kanpur, is recruiting professionals on fixed-term employment. Post-wise Duties

Deputy General Manager, Product Development

You will lead technical textile development, from choosing materials and planning projects to commercial use. The work includes protective products, research partnerships, patent-related work and support for setting up a design studio.

Senior Manager, Supply Chain Management

You will coordinate materials, suppliers and logistics with purchase, production, quality, finance and stores teams. You will track delays, improve inventory planning and prepare reports that help management monitor supply performance.

Senior Manager, Additive Manufacturing

You will identify components suited to additive manufacturing and develop repeatable processes for metal and polymer parts. Your work includes material and machine qualification, technical records and collaboration with research or technology partners.

Manager, Legal

You will review contracts and legal documents, advise GIL on disputes and track court or arbitration matters. The role also supports human resources and administration on service matters and helps keep company policies aligned with applicable requirements.

Junior Assistant

You will handle office records and correspondence, prepare routine documents and help process bills and administrative records. You will also coordinate with departments for meetings and office activities.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Tenure: the initial contract lasts one year. Extensions depend on performance and work requirements, with a maximum total engagement of three years.
• Performance review: GIL reviews performance quarterly during the initial term. Unsatisfactory performance can lead to termination with written notice of 30 days.
• Other work: you cannot take another assignment during your GIL engagement. Work on holidays or weekends may be needed.
• Posting: you may work at GIL headquarters in Kanpur, Ordnance Parachute Factory in Kanpur or another GIL business location.
• Confidentiality: you must sign a non-disclosure agreement and protect company information.
• Contract limits: the engagement does not create a claim to other GIL service or pension benefits. GIL can end it with the prescribed notice, including for poor performance or integrity concerns.
• Travel: GIL does not pay TA/DA for attending the interview.
