Who Can Apply?
Junior Clerk-cum-Copyist, Stenographer Grade-III and Junior Typist
- Citizenship: You must be a citizen of India.
- Qualification: You must have passed at least +3 examination or equivalent from a recognised university.
- Computer diploma: You must have passed at least Diploma in Computer Application from a recognised institute.
- Odia language: You must be able to speak, read and write Odia and must have passed an Odia test equal to M.E. standard.
- Stenographer skill: For Stenographer Grade-III, you need 80 wpm shorthand and 40 wpm typing through computer system.
- Junior Typist skill: For Junior Typist, you need 40 wpm English typing through computer system.
Salaried Amin
- Qualification: You must have passed matriculation or equivalent examination from a recognised board.
- Training: You must have passed Revenue Inspector Training.
- Common conditions: You must meet the same citizenship, age, Odia, character, health and government servant conditions listed in the notification.
Age Limit
- You should be over 18 years and below 42 years.
- Age is counted as on 18 July 2026.
- SC / ST / SEBC / Women: Upper age relaxation of 5 years.
- PwD and Ex-servicemen: Relaxation applies as per relevant Odisha Government rules, orders or instructions.

Salary
- Junior Clerk-cum-Copyist: Rs. 19,900 to Rs. 63,200 in Level 4.
- Stenographer Grade-III: Rs. 25,500 to Rs. 81,100 in Level 7.
- Junior Typist: Rs. 19,900 to Rs. 63,200 in Level 4.
- Salaried Amin: Rs. 21,700 to Rs. 69,100 in Level 5.
- Allowances: Usual DA and other allowances are admissible as per Government of Odisha rules.

Selection Process
Selection starts with career merit shortlisting, followed by written tests and skill/practical tests based on the post. Candidates up to 20 times the actual vacancy from each category may be called for the written test.
- Career Merit List: Marks in HSC, +2 and +3 or equivalent exams are used for shortlisting where applicable.
- Written Examination: Junior Clerk has English, Arithmetic and General Knowledge. Stenographer and Junior Typist have English written test. Salaried Amin has English/Odia, Arithmetic and Survey & Settlement knowledge.

- Enter, type and process court office data through computer systems where required

- Follow Odisha district court rules, office discipline and reporting instructions
- Manage typing, shorthand, computer practical or survey-related work based on the selected post
Eligibility Criteria
Minimum Qualification
+3 degree with Diploma in Computer Application for Junior Clerk-cum-Copyist, Stenographer Grade-III and Junior Typist; matriculation with Revenue Inspector Training for Salaried Amin.
Preferred Qualification
Odia language ability, computer application diploma, shorthand/typewriting skill or Survey & Settlement knowledge as applicable to the post.
