Who Can Apply?

Super Specialist Posts

• Cardiology: MBBS with MD and DM/DNB in Cardiology.
• Oncology: MBBS with M.Ch/DM/DNB in Medical Oncology. If no super-specialty doctor is available, radiotherapy specialists with required experience may be considered.
• Nephrology: MBBS with MD and DM/DNB in Nephrology.
• Experience: Entry level needs no extra experience after the required qualification. Senior level needs 5 years in the specialty after PG.

Specialist Posts

• Qualification: MBBS with PG degree or equivalent in the concerned specialty.
• ICU / Casualty: Critical care, anaesthesia, general medicine, pulmonary medicine, or paediatrics qualifications may be considered as per the department need.
• Experience: PG degree with 3 years experience, or PG diploma with 5 years experience after PG.

Senior Resident Posts

• Qualification: PG degree or PG diploma in the concerned specialty.
• Fallback option: MBBS with 2 years experience may be considered if PG doctors are not available, with at least 1 year in the concerned specialty at a government or reputed hospital.
• Registration: You must have TCMC/MCI/NMC degree registration to attend the walk-in interview.

Age Limit

• Super Specialist: Not above 69 years as on the interview date.
• Specialist: Not above 69 years as on the interview date.
• Senior Resident: Not above 45 years as on the interview date.
• Age relaxation: Reserved categories get relaxation as per government rules.

Salary

• Full Time Super Specialist: Rs. 2,00,000 per month at entry level and Rs. 2,40,000 per month at senior level.
• Part Time Super Specialist: Rs. 1,00,000 to Rs. 1,50,000 per month, plus emergency visit and additional-hour payment if applicable.
• Full Time Specialist: Rs. 1,53,275 to Rs. 1,76,541 per month, based on experience level.
• Part Time Specialist: Rs. 60,000 per month, with Rs. 15,000 for emergency visits if willing and extra hourly payment beyond 16 hours per week.
• Senior Resident: Rs. 1,51,025 to Rs. 1,53,275 per month, based on qualification.

Application Fee

• SC / ST: Rs. 50
• PWD / Female applicants: No fee
• Payment mode: Demand Draft in favour of ESI Fund Account No. 1, payable at SBI Kalamassery.

Selection Process

The selection process has two main stages:

1. Document Check: ESIC will check your application form, original certificates, photocopies, registration proof, category certificate, and fee proof at the venue.
2. Walk-in Interview: You must report at 9:00 AM on 15 May 2026. People arriving after 9:15 AM will not be allowed to join the interview process.
