ESIC Jaipur Teaching Faculty Recruitment 2026: Overview

Employees' State Insurance Corporation (ESIC), under the Ministry of Labour and Employment, is filling Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor posts at ESIC Medical College and Hospital, Laxmi Nagar, Jaipur. The posts are spread across 14 pre-clinical, para-clinical and super-speciality departments, from Anatomy and Forensic Medicine to Nephrology, Neurology and Cardiology. It is a contractual engagement filled through a single-day walk-in interview, and retired Army medical teachers can apply alongside civilian faculty.

• Community Medicine: Professor (SC) and Assistant Professor (ST).
• Medical Oncology: Professor and Associate Professor.
• Gastroenterology: Professor, reserved for OBC.
• Urology: Professor, reserved for OBC.
• Nephrology: Professor and Associate Professor (OBC).
• Neurology: Professor (OBC) and Associate Professor.
• Endocrinology: Professor (ST) and Associate Professor (EWS).
• Dermatology: Associate Professor, reserved for SC.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Contract term: You are engaged for one year or until a regular faculty member joins, extendable by one more year on satisfactory performance.
• Notice period: Either side can end the contract with one month's notice, without giving a reason. Selection gives no right to confirmation or continuation.
• Applying for a lower post: If you are eligible for a higher grade, you can also be interviewed for a lower one. If selected, you may be placed with a temporary upgradation that lasts only for your tenure or until a regular appointment is made to the lower post.
• Pay revisions: Your consolidated pay is revised automatically when Dearness Allowance changes, but no arrears are paid for revisions with retrospective effect.
• Registration: You need a registration certificate from the NMC or the Rajasthan State Medical Council.
• Retired Army teachers: Superannuated AFMS medical teachers must bring an equivalent teaching experience certificate issued by DGAFMS.
• Joining: Results are put up on the ESIC website, and selected candidates must join immediately after getting the offer. No TA/DA is paid for the interview.
• Vacancy count: The number of posts is provisional and may go up or down with actual need.

Application Submission Notes

Report to the Dean Office, 2nd Floor, ESIC Medical College and Hospital, Laxmi Nagar, Ajmer Road, Jaipur 302006 between 9 AM and 11 AM on the interview day with the filled proforma attached to the notice and your testimonials. Incomplete applications are rejected on the spot.

Where a fee applies, attach a demand draft in favour of "ESI Fund A/c No. 1", payable at Jaipur and drawn on any scheduled bank. The draft must be dated after the advertisement date; no other payment mode is accepted.
