ECHS Raipur Non-Medical Staff Recruitment 2026 — 3 Posts

The Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS), Station Headquarters, Raipur has invited applications from eligible Ex-Servicemen and other candidates for 3 contractual positions at ECHS Polyclinics in the Raipur region of Chhattisgarh. These are non-medical support staff roles that keep ECHS polyclinics running smoothly on a day-to-day basis. Preference will be given to Ex-Servicemen (ESM), and the appointment is initially for one year, renewable based on performance. Who Can Apply?

For Peon (1 Post):

• Education: You should have passed Class 8th from a recognized board.
• Trade: GD Trade from the Armed Forces is required.
• Experience: You need at least 5 years of work experience.

For Chowkidar (1 Post):

• Education: You should have passed Class 8th from a recognized board.
• Trade: GD Trade from the Armed Forces (or Class 8th pass).

For DEO/Clerk (1 Post):

• Education: You must hold a Graduate degree from a recognized university.
• Trade: Class-1 Clerical Trade from the Armed Forces.
• Experience: You need at least 5 years of work experience.

Note: Preference will be given to Ex-Servicemen (ESM) for all positions.

Age Limit

• Maximum age for all posts: 55 years
• This age limit applies to Ex-Servicemen contractual appointments.

Salary

• Peon: Fixed remuneration of Rs. 21,800 per month
• Chowkidar: Fixed remuneration of Rs. 21,800 per month
• DEO/Clerk: Fixed remuneration of Rs. 29,200 per month
• These are fixed monthly payments for contractual staff. Remuneration may be revised as per the latest ECHS policy letter.

Selection Process

1. Document Verification: Your educational certificates, experience documents, and discharge book will be checked first.
2. Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview. The date and venue of the interview will be communicated separately.

There is no written examination for these posts. Selection is purely based on interview performance and document verification.

Important Dates

• Handle daily maintenance and upkeep tasks at the ECHS Polyclinic premises as assigned by the Officer-in-Charge.
• Assist medical and administrative staff with routine office work such as carrying files, distributing mail, and keeping the workplace organized.
• Monitor and guard the polyclinic premises during assigned duty hours to ensure the safety and security of the building, equipment, and staff.
• Perform data entry work accurately, maintain patient records, and manage clerical correspondence for the DEO/Clerk position.
• Keep the office environment clean and ensure supplies are available for smooth day-to-day operations.
• Follow all instructions given by the Officer-in-Charge and cooperate with other staff members during emergency situations.
