Post-wise Duties

Officer-in-Charge

You will oversee the polyclinic's daily administration, coordinate staff and keep patient services moving smoothly. The role needs healthcare-management judgement, including attention to records, local coordination and service discipline.

Medical Officer

You will examine ECHS beneficiaries, record clinical findings and manage routine treatment or referral decisions. You should be ready to handle general outpatient medical care and work closely with the clinic's support staff.

Dental Assistant, Technician or Hygienist

You will support dental procedures, prepare instruments and help maintain dental laboratory work. The post calls for safe handling of dental materials and equipment, along with accurate patient and laboratory records.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Tenure: each appointment runs up to 31 March 2027 from the joining date and may be renewed for another year, subject to performance, the prescribed upper-age condition and other ECHS rules.
• Contract status: selection creates a contractual engagement only and does not confer regular government-employee status.
• Ex-servicemen preference: former service personnel receive preference when they meet the post requirements.
