There are 4 different Project Scientist roles, each requiring a specific Ph.D. and 6-8 years of research and teaching experience:

• Project Scientist 1st: Ph.D. or equivalent in hydrology/hydrogeology. Desirable: experience in river systems, hydraulics/hydrology/hydrogeology.
• Project Scientist 2nd: Ph.D. or equivalent in interdisciplinary science related to ecosystems/ecology/sociology/environment/sustainable development. Desirable: experience in floodplain and river basin ecosystems.
• Project Scientist 3rd: Ph.D. or equivalent in interdisciplinary science related to biotechnology or recycling and reuse of wastewater. Desirable: familiarity with nature-based solutions in sewage/wastewater treatment.
• Project Scientist 4th: Ph.D. or equivalent in microbiology/applied microbiology/aquatic microbiology. Desirable: familiarity with microbiology of wastewater/sewage and disinfection methods.

Training Coordinator cum Administrative Officer (1 Post — Rs. 80,000/month)

• Essential: Master's Degree in Computer Application or Management plus 3 years of experience in administration or establishment work.
• Desirable: Experience in large field-based projects related to ecology, biodiversity, ecosystems, or working in an R&D scientific organisation.
• Job Role: Coordinate and manage training programmes for a capacity building project, ensuring smooth execution and participant engagement.

Account Officer (1 Post — Rs. 70,000/month)

• Essential: Graduate Degree in Commerce/Finance/Business Administration with 2 years of experience.
• Job Role: Manage financial operations including budgeting, accounting, and financial reporting.

Database Operator (1 Post — Rs. 40,000/month)

• Essential: Graduation in Science or Engineering field, or 3-year Diploma in Engineering & Technology.
• Desirable: Familiarity with making e-learning modules, video production for lectures and field visits, and GIS.
• Job Role: Maintain and update project databases, ensuring accuracy, security, and timely data entry.

MTS — Multi-Tasking Staff (4 Posts — Rs. 30,000/month)

• MTS 1: Degree/Diploma. Desirable: experience in collecting water samples, testing water quality, and operating nature-based solutions (NBS).
• MTS 2: Degree/Diploma. Desirable: experience in minor civil works related to biodiversity parks and NBS.
• MTS 3: Degree/Diploma in Life Science/Plant Science/Botany/Agriculture Science. Desirable: experience in collecting plant propagules and multiplication.
• MTS 4: Degree/Diploma. Desirable: logistic support for trainees and operation/maintenance of instruments.

Salary

• Project Scientist: Rs. 1,25,000 per month (consolidated)
• Training Coordinator cum Administrative Officer: Rs. 80,000 per month (consolidated)
• Account Officer: Rs. 70,000 per month (consolidated)
• Database Operator: Rs. 40,000 per month (consolidated)
• MTS: Rs. 30,000 per month (consolidated)
