Post-wise Duties

Case Worker

You will counsel women who visit the One Stop Centre, understand their situation, and connect them with police, hospitals, legal aid and shelter homes as needed. You will keep case files updated and follow up until each case is resolved, working closely with government and non-government support programmes.

Security

You will guard the centre premises, check visitors before they enter, and keep watch throughout working hours. You will report any security concern to the District Social Welfare Officer right away and help maintain a safe environment for women visiting the centre.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Eligibility: Only women candidates can apply for both the Case Worker and Security posts.
• Residency: Candidates should be residents of the local Kanchipuram community.
• Travel: Work-related travel expenses will be reimbursed for the Case Worker post, since counselling work can involve visits outside the centre.
