The Institute of Nuclear Medicine and Allied Sciences (INMAS), Delhi, a premier lab under DRDO, Ministry of Defence, has invited applications for 38 Apprentice posts for the Financial Year 2026-27. INMAS is a leading DRDO laboratory in Delhi that works on nuclear medicine, radiation sciences, and CBRN defence technologies. Under Advt. No. INMAS/IRAC/APPR-01/2026-27, the institute is looking for fresh graduates, diploma holders, and ITI pass candidates to join a one-year apprenticeship programme. This is a great chance for fresh pass-outs (2022 or later) to gain hands-on experience at a top defence research lab.

Who Can Apply?

• You must have passed your qualifying exam (Diploma / ITI / Graduation) in 2022 or later.
• Only regular (full-time) candidates are eligible — distance or correspondence degrees are not accepted.
• Candidates with post-graduation degrees are not eligible.
• If you already have 1 year or more of training or job experience after your qualifying exam, you cannot apply.
• You must be registered on the BOAT portal (www.mhrdnats.gov.in) and verified by the Regional Board before applying.

Stipend

• ITI Apprentice: Rs 9,600 per month
• Diploma Apprentice: Rs 10,900 per month
• Graduate Apprentice: Rs 12,300 per month

Note: No accommodation, transport, or TA/DA will be provided by INMAS during the training period.

Application Fee

There is no application fee mentioned in the notification. Registration on the BOAT portal (www.mhrdnats.gov.in) is required.

Selection Process

1. Merit-Based Selection — Candidates will be selected strictly on the basis of percentage/marks in the essential qualification. There is no written exam.
2. Shortlisting by Board — A board constituted by Director INMAS will review all applications and shortlist candidates based on vacancies.
3. Document Verification — SC/ST/OBC (Non-Creamy Layer)/EWS/PwD candidates must produce caste/relevant certificates issued by the competent authority.
4. Medical Fitness Certificate — Selected candidates must submit a medical fitness certificate at the time of joining.

Reservation will be applied as per the Apprentices Act, 1961 and Apprenticeship Rules, 1992.

How to Apply

1. Register on the BOAT web portal at www.mhrdnats.gov.in if you have not already done so.
2. Get your profile verified by the Regional Board.
3. Search for the establishment INMAS / Institute of Nuclear Medicine and Allied Sciences using the user ID NDLNOC000005 on the portal.
4. Apply for the relevant apprenticeship trade through the portal.
5. Download and fill the application form available on the DRDO website if required.
