DMIL AGM Planning and Strategy Recruitment 2026: Overview

Delhi Metro International Limited (DMIL), a wholly owned subsidiary of Delhi Metro Rail Corporation, is filling the Additional General Manager Planning and Strategy role on deputation. DMIL was created to take metro and allied urban-transport expertise into national and international work covering operations, maintenance, consultancy, design, planning and project development. This role sits close to that expansion agenda: you will help turn the parent organisation's technical experience into commercially workable projects and partnerships. It is aimed at an experienced public-sector or government executive who can connect transport policy, project planning, revenue opportunities and contract decisions.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Deputation basis: You remain an officer of your parent organisation while serving DMIL under the applicable deputation framework.
• Tenure: The normal term is five years. In a special case it may be extended to seven years, but it cannot continue beyond your superannuation.
• Eligible organisations: The notice targets serving officers from government, autonomous bodies, public-sector undertakings, metro companies and comparable public organisations who meet the prescribed seniority and experience conditions.
• Domain background: Your record should show senior work in railways, metro systems, urban infrastructure, rail-land development, smart cities or government companies, with planning and commercial decision-making exposure.
• Computer environment: You should be comfortable working in a computerised metro or rail setting and have a clear vigilance and disciplinary record.
• Project reach: DMIL handles work in India and abroad, so the role may involve coordination beyond the Delhi office and across varied project stakeholders.
• Medical suitability: Final suitability remains subject to the applicable medical standard, and the notice does not provide alternative employment if that standard is not met.
• Updates: Shortlisting, screening details and the final outcome are published through the DMRC careers website rather than sent individually by post.
