Responsibilities
- Take dictation in shorthand from the presiding officer of the Permanent Lok Adalat and transcribe the notes accurately into typed documents.
- Prepare official correspondence, orders, and case-related documents as directed by the Lok Adalat.
- Maintain confidential records and files related to ongoing and disposed cases in the Permanent Lok Adalat.
- Assist in court proceedings by recording notes, maintaining the daily cause list, and organizing case files.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, prepare dispatch registers, and ensure timely delivery of official communications.
- Keep accurate records of all typing work completed, including case orders, summons, and notices.
- Follow all administrative instructions given by the Secretary, DLSA Barabanki, regarding day-to-day office operations.
