The District-Level Forest Rights Act (FRA) Cell, Dibrugarh, functioning under the Office of the District Commissioner, Dibrugarh, has invited applications (Advertisement No. FOR/24/2025-FFG-DBR/88) for engagement of 2 candidates on a purely temporary and contractual basis to support Forest Rights Act implementation work in the district. The Forest Rights Act aims to recognise and record the rights of forest-dwelling and tribal communities over forest land, and this cell handles the district-level scrutiny, data management and reporting of these claims. Selection is entirely through a walk-in interview — there is no written exam and no online application form, so you can get selected the same day if you meet the criteria. The engagement is initially for 11 months, and it may be renewed for another 11 months, subject to your performance and the satisfaction of the appointing authority.

Who Can Apply?

The two posts have different qualification and experience requirements, so check the criteria below carefully before attending the interview.

For Program Co-ordinator (Rs. 35,000/month):

• Qualification: Master's Degree in Social Science or Social Work.
• Skills: Working knowledge of basic IT/Computer Applications.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years of domain experience in Rural Development and Tribal work. Experience in Tribal Development will be preferred.

For MIS/FRA Associate (Rs. 25,000/month):

• Qualification: B.Sc./B.A. in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics or Social Science from a reputed institution.
• Skills: Minimum Diploma in Information Technology (IT)/Computer Application.
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of domain experience in large-scale data processing and management.

Age Limit
