DHS Ranipet Multi Post Recruitment 2026: Overview

District Health Society, Ranipet District (DHS Ranipet) is filling thirteen kinds of health posts on a contract basis for the district's health units in Tamil Nadu. The notice brings together openings in the Siddha and Indian Medicine wing, the Medical and Rural Health Services wing, the Directorate of Public Health, the tuberculosis programme and the IDSP disease surveillance unit. The whole recruitment runs through one common application window and one common address.

The roles run from a district-level Medical Officer for the tuberculosis programme down to attender and driver posts, so candidates from Class 8 pass up to MBBS degree holders can find a post that matches them in the same notice. All the work is inside Ranipet district, in government hospitals, urban and rural health facilities, Siddha units and mobile medical services.

• Dispenser (Pharmacist), Siddha: dispensing work in the district's Siddha units under the Indian Medicine wing.
• Attender (MPHW), Siddha: multi-purpose support work in the Siddha units.
• Medical Officer (TB): a doctor's post in the district tuberculosis programme.
• Tuberculosis Health Visitor (TBHV): field and follow-up work for tuberculosis patients in the same programme.
• Special Educator for Behavioural Therapy: a rehabilitation post under Medical and Rural Health Services for children and adults with intellectual disability.
• Occupational Therapist: therapy services under Medical and Rural Health Services.
• RMNCH Counsellor: counselling on reproductive, maternal, newborn and child health; the work needs fluency in the local language and steady data handling.
• Urban Health Nurse: nursing posts in the urban health facilities under the Directorate of Public Health.
• MTM Health Inspector: the largest group in this notice, for public health inspection work under the Directorate of Public Health.
• Health Inspector Grade II: district public health inspection work on the same qualification route as the MTM Health Inspector.
• Mid Level Health Provider: nursing-led primary care at the health and wellness centres.
• MMU Driver: driving the mobile medical unit; you must be able to clear minor faults in the vehicle yourself.
• Lab Attender, IDSP: laboratory support work in the district disease surveillance unit.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Purely temporary: every post in this notice is a temporary engagement. It will never be made permanent, at any stage.
• Termination: the society can end your service at any time for administrative reasons, so treat it as a contract job and not a regular government post.
• Self-declaration: you have to submit a signed willingness statement about joining the post.
• Contract agreement: the appointment runs on an eleven-month contract agreement that you sign before joining.
• Society's discretion: the District Health Society administration keeps the right to fill the posts, cut down the openings, postpone the recruitment or approve the appointments. Being called does not mean being appointed.
