For Consultant (5 Posts - Rs. 1,60,000-2,00,000/month):

  • A recognized medical qualification included in the First or Second Schedule, or Part II of the Third Schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act 1956.
  • AND an MD in Anesthesia (or equivalent), OR MBBS with MD in General Medicine/equivalent plus 1 year ICU experience, OR MD in Respiratory Medicine with 1 year ICU experience, OR MBBS with a 2-year MCI-recognized certificate course in Critical Medicine/Intensive Care plus 1 year work experience.

For Medical Officer (11 Posts - Rs. 1,00,000/month):

  • A recognized medical qualification as per the Indian Medical Council Act 1956, with MBBS and compulsory rotating internship from a Medical College, plus a minimum of 1 year experience.
  • Desirable: 1 year experience in an ICU setup, and ALS/BLS training certificates from a reputed institute.

For Staff Nurse (4 Posts - Rs. 30,000/month):

  • B.Sc Nursing or GNM Nursing, registered with the Goa Nursing Council, with 1 year experience.
  • Desirable: 1 year experience in an ICU/Critical Care setup.
  • Domicile: You need self-attested copies of your birth certificate, educational certificates, a valid employment card, and proof of 15 years' residence in Goa.

Knowledge of Konkani is desirable for all three posts. Desirable qualifications strengthen your candidature but do not replace the essential qualification required for each post — make sure you meet the essential criteria before you turn up for the interview.

Age Limit

Salary

  • Medical Officer: Rs. 1,00,000 per month (consolidated).
  • Staff Nurse: Rs. 30,000 per month (consolidated).

Responsibilities

  • Provide critical care and treatment to patients admitted in the ICU
  • Monitor patient vitals continuously and respond promptly to emergencies
  • Coordinate with the treating team on diagnosis and treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate patient records, medication charts, and ICU logs
  • Operate and manage ICU equipment such as ventilators and cardiac monitors
  • Follow infection control and hospital safety protocols at all times
  • Work in rotational shifts, including night duty, as required
  • Guide and supervise junior staff and nursing assistants in the ICU
