Post-wise Duties

Professor-cum-Principal

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Recruitment route: the Principal role uses a composite deputation, short-term contract and promotion method; the Vice-Principal role is by promotion, failing which deputation including short-term contract.
• Tenure: the normal deputation period is capped separately for each role and includes earlier ex-cadre deputation immediately before this appointment.
• Feeder cadre: departmental officers in the direct line of promotion and outside deputation candidates are considered under the role-specific rules in the circular.
