District Child Protection Unit (DCPU), Tiruchirappalli Caseworker Recruitment 2026 - 1 Post

The District Collector's Office, Tiruchirappalli has invited applications for 1 Caseworker post at the Bus Stand Help Desk, run under the Mission Vatsalya Scheme — a centrally sponsored child protection and welfare scheme launched by the Ministry of Women and Child Development to ensure the care, protection and constructive growth of vulnerable children. Under this scheme, District Child Protection Units run round-the-clock Child Helpline services in coordination with the Emergency Response Support System (ERSS-112), and this Caseworker will support the Bus Stand Help Desk that identifies and assists children and families in need. This is a contract-basis position, and candidates with experience in emergency helpline services get preference.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: You should have passed 12th standard or an equivalent examination from a recognized board.
• Skills: Good communication skills are required.
• Preference: Weightage is given for relevant work experience, and candidates who have worked in emergency helpline services get preference.
• Application quality: Preference is also given to applications that are fully and correctly filled, with all required self-attested certificates attached.

Age Limit

• You should not have completed 42 years of age as on 1 July 2026.
• Age Relaxation: Candidates with prior experience in emergency helpline services (up to the end of FY 2025-26) can get a one-time age relaxation of up to 10 years.

Salary

• You will get a consolidated pay of Rs. 18,000 per month.

Selection Process
