Central University of Odisha (CUO) was established under the Act of Parliament, 2009, and its main campus is located at Sunabeda in Koraput, Odisha. The university has released a notice to engage 2 Guest Faculty members in Sanskrit for the Monsoon Semester - one for Vyakarana (Grammar) and one for Sahitya (Literature). This is a walk-in interview based selection - there is no written exam and no online application process. The engagement is purely temporary, valid for one semester and may be extended for another semester based on your performance, but it ends automatically once a regular faculty member joins the post. Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: You need a Master's degree in Sanskrit with specialization in Grammar or Literature, with at least 55% marks (or an equivalent grade) from a recognized Indian University or an accredited foreign university.
• Additional requirement: Along with the Master's degree, you must have cleared UGC-NET, CSIR-NET, SLET/SET, or hold a Ph.D. in Sanskrit.

Eligibility follows the UGC Regulations on Minimum Qualifications for Teachers, 2018. Selection is based purely on your performance in the interview - there is no written test.

Salary

• You will be paid an honorarium of Rs. 1,500 per lecture, subject to a maximum of Rs. 50,000 per month.
• Guest Faculty do not get the allowances, pension, gratuity, or leave benefits that are available to regular teachers.
• No TA/DA is paid for attending the walk-in interview.
