CSIR-National Environmental Engineering Research Institute (CSIR-NEERI) is hiring a Project Associate-I for its climate research project at the Kolkata Regional Centre. Service Conditions and Caveats

• Project link: Your appointment lasts only within the project arrangement. It does not give you a claim to a regular position at CSIR or CSIR-NEERI, even if the engagement is extended.
• Funding: The initial offer will cover the period for which funds are available. The notice also allows additional appointments from a waiting list if funding permits, so anticipated openings should not be treated as confirmed appointments.

• Moving between projects: If you already work on another project, the competent authority must accept your resignation before the new engagement begins. The notice does not allow automatic upgrading within the same project or a new one.
• Fresh applications: For a different project position, you need to apply again and take part in that recruitment. Your current project appointment does not automatically carry over to another assignment.

• Joining: Follow the joining period stated in your offer letter. An offer can be withdrawn if the institute finds a discrepancy in your candidature at any stage.
