CMHO Korba Multi-Post Recruitment 2026: Overview
Office of the Chief Medical and Health Officer, Korba (CMHO Korba) is filling a mixed group of clinical, nursing, community-health, laboratory, programme and support roles under the National Health Mission in Chhattisgarh. The drive brings district hospital work, emergency and intensive-care nursing, community outreach, tuberculosis services, urban health centres and office support into one contractual notice. It is useful for applicants at very different qualification levels because the same recruitment covers medical degrees, nursing courses, laboratory training, science backgrounds, computer diplomas and school-level qualifications.
Posts and Disciplines
- Dentist: oral-health services under the National Oral Health Programme, with professional council registration.
- MO AYUSH: AYUSH medical work for the RBSK programme in the accepted medical systems.
- Nursing Officer: nursing assignments across NHM, Trauma and Emergency, ICU and urban-health programmes.
- Community Health Officer: primary-care and community-health work through Ayushman Arogya Mandir and Health and Wellness Centre services.
- Staff Nurse NRC: nursing care connected with the Nutrition Rehabilitation Centre.
- Laboratory Technician RBSK: sample handling, testing and laboratory records for the child-health screening programme.
- Tuberculosis Health Visitor: counselling, follow-up, field coordination and programme records under NTEP.

- Class IV UHWC: basic operational and office support at an Urban Health and Wellness Centre.

Nursing and Community Roles
Nursing Officers and Staff Nurses will support ward, emergency, ICU, urban-health or nutrition-rehabilitation services according to their programme placement. Community Health Officers will connect facility care with community follow-up, prevention work, records and team coordination at the primary-care level.
Laboratory and Tuberculosis Roles
The Laboratory Technician will handle specimens, testing workflows, equipment hygiene and result records. The Tuberculosis Health Visitor will help patients stay connected to diagnosis and treatment through counselling, visits, programme reporting and coordination with health workers.
Administrative and Support Roles
The Junior Secretarial Assistant will maintain digital and paper records, prepare routine correspondence and support programme reporting. Class IV staff will help keep the assigned centre functional through basic office, movement and facility-support work.
Service Conditions and Caveats
- Contract status: every post in this notice is contractual under NHM rules and does not create a right to a regular government appointment.
- Tenure: the stated engagement runs up to 31 March 2027 and may be extended when performance is satisfactory and the programme continues.
- Post-specific registration: medical, nursing and paramedical applicants need the live Chhattisgarh council registration stated for their post.
- Performance: appointed staff remain subject to performance appraisal by the controlling officer.
- Posting: you must join at the place assigned in Korba district and remain available for programme duties there.
