Chittoor District Co-operative Central Bank Ltd has released a notification for 75 Staff Assistant posts. Out of these, 67 vacancies are open to candidates from the open market and 8 vacancies are reserved for staff already working in Primary Agriculture Co-operative Societies (PACS) affiliated to the bank. Only candidates with domicile of the erstwhile Chittoor District are eligible to apply — this is a local-candidature post. Selection is entirely through an online written test, and the bank has clearly stated there will be no interview.

Within the open market quota, 2 vacancies are reserved for PwBD candidates (Visually Impaired and Hearing Impaired) and 2 for Ex-Servicemen — these are horizontal reservations already included in the parent category totals above. Who Can Apply?

For Open Market Candidates:

  • Qualification: Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university (as on 24 July 2026)
  • Language: You must know English and be proficient in Telugu (the local language)
  • Computer Knowledge: Working knowledge of computers is essential
  • Domicile: You must be a local candidate of the erstwhile Chittoor District. This is proved either by studying in the district for at least 4 consecutive academic years up to your SSC exam, or by residing in the district, certified by a Mandal Revenue Officer/Tahsildar.

For In-Service PACS Candidates:

  • Qualification: Intermediate plus JDC/HDC/DCRS, or Graduation from a recognized university
  • Experience: You need at least 10 years of service in a PACS affiliated to Chittoor DCCB as on the date of notification, proven through a certified service register
  • Note: In-service PACS candidates selected under this recruitment will be placed at the minimum basic pay of the Staff Assistant scale — no extra weightage or increments are given for prior PACS service.

Age Limit

  • For open market candidates, you should be between 20 and 30 years old as on 01 June 2026.
  • Age Relaxation: SC/ST candidates get 5 years, BC candidates get 3 years, Physically Challenged (General) get 10 years, Physically Challenged (SC/ST) get 15 years, and Physically Challenged (BC) get 13 years.
  • Ex-Servicemen: Actual service rendered plus 3 years (8 years for disabled ex-servicemen from SC/ST), subject to a maximum of 50 years.
  • For in-service PACS candidates, the age limit is relaxed up to 45 years (with further reserved-category relaxation up to a maximum of 50 years). This relaxation is cumulative as per government guidelines.

Salary

  • The Staff Assistant pay scale is Rs. 24,050 – Rs. 64,480 (20 stages), plus 11 stagnation increments of Rs. 2,680 every 2 years after reaching the top of the scale.
  • At present, your starting total emoluments will be around Rs. 47,000 per month, inclusive of DA and HRA at current rates.
  • You will also get other allowances and perquisites as per Bank rules.

  • SC / ST / PwBD / Ex-Servicemen: Rs. 590 (inclusive of GST)
  • OC / BC / EWS: Rs. 826 (inclusive of GST)

Selection Process

The selection will be done in the following stages:

  1. Online Written Test: For open market candidates, this is 200 marks covering Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, English Language, General Awareness and Computer Knowledge in a composite time of 2 hours. For in-service PACS candidates, it is a separate 100-mark test on Working and Functions of PACS in 60 minutes. Both tests have negative marking of 0.25 marks per wrong answer, and there is no interview for either category. Your raw score is equated across test sessions to account for difficulty-level differences before the final ranking is prepared.
  2. Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates must produce original certificates for verification, including community, EWS, and domicile certificates as applicable.

  • Handle day-to-day banking transactions including deposits, withdrawals and account operations
  • Assist customers with account opening, loan applications and general banking queries
  • Maintain accurate records of cash, ledgers and PACS-related documentation
  • Support senior officers in branch-level administrative and clerical work
  • Operate core banking software and computer systems for daily operations
  • Follow bank rules, RBI guidelines and internal audit requirements
  • Coordinate with Primary Agriculture Co-operative Societies (PACS) under the branch
  • Prepare reports and correspondence in English and Telugu as required
