Chhattisgarh State Rural Livelihoods Mission (CGSRLM), popularly known as Bihan, operates under the Zila Panchayat framework to promote self-employment and sustainable livelihoods in rural Chhattisgarh. This recruitment covers 2 Block Project Manager posts and 1 Regional Coordinator post on a contractual basis for one year, renewable based on annual performance appraisal. Who Can Apply?

For Block Project Manager (Rs. 39,875/month):

• Education: Post-Graduate degree or 2-year Diploma from a recognised university or institution
• Experience: Minimum 2 years of post-PG experience at block or cluster level in rural development, poverty alleviation, or livelihood projects under Central Government, State Government, Local Body, or Government-aided institution (listed on NITI Aayog website)
• Computer knowledge is desirable

For Regional Coordinator (Rs. 26,490/month):

• Education: Graduate degree from a recognised university
• Additional: 1-year Diploma or Certificate in Computer Applications from a recognised institution
• Experience: Minimum 1 year of post-graduation experience at block or cluster level in rural development, poverty alleviation, or livelihood projects under Central/State Government, Local Body, or Government-aided institution

Only candidates who are native residents of Chhattisgarh are eligible to apply for these posts.

Age Limit

• You should be between 21 and 35 years old as on 01 January 2026.
• Age Relaxation: Upper age relaxation is available for Chhattisgarh residents and reserved categories as per Chhattisgarh Government rules issued from time to time.
• In any case, the maximum age limit shall not exceed 45 years.

Salary

• Block Project Manager: Rs. 39,875 per month (consolidated)
• Regional Coordinator: Rs. 26,490 per month (consolidated)
• The contract is initially for 1 year, renewable based on performance, work efficiency, and annual performance appraisal with mutual consent.

Selection Process

The selection will be done in the following stages:

1. Merit-Based Shortlisting (out of 100 marks): Applications received will be shortlisted on merit basis. For Block Project Manager: PG percentage (35 marks), Graduation (20 marks), 12th (15 marks), 10th (10 marks), Experience (10 marks), CG SRLM experience (05 marks), Interview (05 marks). For Regional Coordinator: Graduation (35 marks), 12th (20 marks), 10th (20 marks), Experience (10 marks), CG SRLM experience (05 marks), Written/Skill Test (10 marks).
2. Written Test / Skill Test / Interview: From the shortlisted candidates, eligible applicants will be called for written test, skill test, or interview at a ratio of 1:10 (10 candidates per vacancy).
3. Final Merit List: Based on combined marks, the final selection list will be prepared.

• Manage and coordinate livelihood promotion activities at the block level under NRLM
• Assist in forming and strengthening Self-Help Groups (SHGs) in rural areas
• Prepare block-level action plans for poverty alleviation and rural development programs
• Monitor progress of livelihood projects and submit periodic reports to the District Mission Management Unit
• Coordinate with Gram Panchayats, community organisations, and government departments for effective program delivery
• Facilitate capacity building and training programs for community cadre and SHG members
• Maintain proper records, MIS data entry, and documentation of all field activities
