Age Limit

• You should be between 18 and 30 years old as on 01 January 2025.
• Age Relaxation: Local residents of Chhattisgarh get 5 years relaxation (up to 35 years).

• Women candidates get relaxation up to 10 years as per the Chhattisgarh Civil Service (Special Provision for Appointment of Women) Rules, 1997.

Salary

• Selected candidates will get a starting salary of Rs. 25,500 per month under Pay Level 4 of the pay matrix (pre-revised scale Rs. 5,200-20,200 with Grade Pay Rs. 1,900).
• You will also get DA, HRA, TA and other allowances as per Chhattisgarh government rules.

Selection Process

The selection will be done in the following stages:

1. Written Exam: 100 objective (MCQ) questions for 100 marks, to be completed in 2 hours. Each question has 4 options with 1 correct answer. There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every wrong answer.
2. Document Verification: Your original certificates will be checked by the Office of the Controller, Food and Drug Administration, Chhattisgarh before appointment.
3. Medical Fitness Certificate: You need to submit a fitness certificate from the District Hospital Medical Board.
4. Police Verification: Character verification will be done after you join the post.

Selected candidates will be on probation for 3 years from the date of joining.
