Who Can Apply?

Engineering Graduate Apprentices

• Qualification: You need a B.E. or B.Tech degree in the relevant branch from a university or institution recognised by AICTE, State Government, or Central Government.
• Eligible branches: Electrical & Electronics Engineering and Civil Engineering.

Technician (Diploma) Apprentices

• Qualification: You need a 3-year Diploma in the relevant branch from a recognised polytechnic college or institution.
• Eligible branches: Electrical & Electronics Engineering and Civil Engineering.

Non-Engineering Graduate Apprentices

• Qualification: You need BA, B.Sc, B.Com, BBA, or BCA from a recognised university or institution.
• Passing year: Your qualifying degree or diploma should be from 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025, or 2026.
• State condition: You should belong to Karnataka State.
• Language: You should know how to read and write Kannada.

If you have already completed apprenticeship training, are currently undergoing apprenticeship training, or have one year of work experience, you cannot apply for this CESC apprenticeship.

Age Limit

• Minimum age: 18 years
• Other age conditions will follow the Apprenticeship Rules.

Monthly Stipend

• Engineering Graduate Apprentices: Rs. 12,300 per month
• Non-Engineering Graduate Apprentices: Rs. 12,300 per month
• Technician (Diploma) Apprentices: Rs. 10,900 per month
• Training duration is one year under the Apprenticeship (Amendment) Act, 1973.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

CESC selection is based on your qualifying examination marks. The Board of Apprenticeship Training (Southern Region) will prepare the shortlist using online application data from the NATS portal.

2. Merit Shortlisting: Shortlisting will be based on marks secured in the qualifying exam only.
3. Email Intimation: Shortlisted candidates will be informed through their registered email ID.
4. Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates must appear in person at the CESC Corporate Office, Mysuru with original documents.

How to Apply

1. Go to the NATS portal at nats.education.gov.in.
2. If you are a new user, choose the student registration option and complete your profile.
3. Generate your 12-digit Enrollment Number after completing the profile.
4. If you already enrolled on the old NATS portal, reset your password and complete the new portal profile.
5. Log in as a student and go to Apply against advertised vacancies.
6. Search for Chamundeshwari Electricity Supply Corporation Limited.
7. Click apply and submit before 29 May 2026.
