CDAC IT and Network Engineer Consultant Recruitment 2026: Overview

Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) is engaging a Consultant in IT and Network Engineering at its Centre In North East (CINE), Guwahati. The centre is located in the Research Park Building at IIT Guwahati, Amingaon, Assam. This is a project-linked consultancy, with the notice allowing either full-time or part-time engagement.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Contract period: Your engagement lasts for four months from appointment or commencement, or until the project finishes, whichever comes first. The project end can therefore bring the engagement to a close earlier.
• Early termination: C-DAC CINE can end the contract with one month's notice. Consider that provision alongside the stated contract period when assessing the offer.
• Extension: Any further engagement is at C-DAC CINE's discretion. The notice does not promise an extension after the initial period.
• Working arrangement: The requirement allows full-time or part-time consultancy. It does not assign a single arrangement to all applicants in advance.
• Attendance: The centre records attendance monthly and adjusts payment proportionately for that month. Applicable tax deductions, including TDS, also apply.
• Leave: The annual leave provision is eight days, calculated proportionately for the actual tenure. You should read it together with the shorter contract period offered here.
• Application handling: C-DAC may reject an incomplete application or ask for documents again where necessary. The centre retains the final decision on these matters.

• Design and set up wired and wireless enterprise networks, including LAN and WAN connections.
• Monitor connectivity and resolve faults to keep IT services available.
