Centre for Development of Telematics (C-DOT) is a premier R&D Autonomous Institute of the Government of India under the Department of Telecommunications, Ministry of Communications. C-DOT is engaged in research and development of innovative telecom technologies. This recruitment is for 2 Consultant (Vigilance) posts to support the organisation's vigilance function at its Delhi and Bengaluru offices. This is a contractual engagement initially for one year, which may be extended based on performance. Retired government officers with hands-on experience in vigilance matters should apply.

Who Can Apply?

• Retirement Status: You must have retired from a Central Government, State Government, PSU, Semi-Government, Autonomous Body, or Statutory Organisation.
• Pay Level at Retirement: Your substantive pay at the time of retirement should have been at Level 8, 9, or 10 in the Pay Matrix.
• Experience: You need a minimum of 2 years of experience in handling vigilance cases.
• Qualification: All qualifications must be from AICTE/UGC-approved or recognised universities/institutes.
• Health: You should be in good health, certified by a competent medical practitioner.

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 63 years as on the closing date of receiving online applications (03 May 2026).
• The reference date for age calculation is the last date for receiving online applications, which is 30 days after publication in Employment News (English).

Salary

• Salary will be paid as per Government of India norms and DoPT guidelines for engagement of retired officers as consultants.
• As per DoPT norms, the monthly remuneration for retired officers is typically fixed as last drawn pay minus basic pension.
• No DA or HRA is admissible. Transport Allowance may be provided as per retirement-time rates.
• You will get 1.5 days of paid leave per month.

Selection Process

Selection will be done through a two-level interview:

1. First-Level Interview (Online): An initial screening interview will be conducted online.
2. Second-Level Interview (Offline/In-Person): Shortlisted candidates will be called for an in-person interview.

• Support in complaint disposal in consultation with the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC)
• Provide guidance on vigilance matters and review vigilance policies and procedures
• Assist in investigation and inquiry processes related to vigilance cases
• Conduct CTE-type inspections and support vigilance awareness campaigns
• Audit Annual Immovable Property Returns of employees
• Prepare Quarterly Progress Reports (QPR) for submission to CVC
• Handle preparation of Agreed List and ODIL list
• Support in preparation of chargesheets and penalty proceedings
• Coordinate examination of CBI cases and related follow-up
