C-DAC Pune, a scientific society under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology, has released Advt. No. CORP/JIT/02/2026 - PN for project-level hiring. The notice covers Project Engineer, Senior Project Engineer, Project Manager, and Project Leader posts in software development, HPC, AI, cyber security, database administration, UI/UX, quantum computing, hardware, GIS, ETL, DevOps and project management domains.

The engagement is purely contractual and can initially run up to 3 years or until the project ends, whichever is earlier. C-DAC has also stated that selected candidates may be moved to another project or location across India based on organisational needs.

Major domain-wise openings include:

• Software Developer: 84 posts
• High Performance Computing: 11 posts
• Project Management: 10 posts
• Implementation Support: 8 posts
• Technical Project Manager: 5 posts
• ETL Developer: 4 posts
• AI, SOC L2, Build/Deployment, Mobile Application Development: 3 posts each

Work locations include Pune, Delhi, Bangalore and Bhubaneswar. The notice also says selected candidates may be deputed or transferred to project locations across India.

Who Can Apply?

Project Engineer

• Qualification: B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, IT, Electrical and Electronics, Electronics, Electronics and Communication, Electronics and Telecom or related discipline with 60% marks or equivalent CGPA.
• Other accepted qualifications: MCA with 60% marks, M.E./M.Tech in a relevant discipline, PG degree in Science/Computer Application with 60% marks, or Ph.D. in a relevant discipline.

Senior Project Engineer and Project Leader

• Qualification: B.E./B.Tech, M.E./M.Tech, MCA, PG Science/Computer Application degree or Ph.D. in the relevant domain, as specified against each post.
• Domain fit: You should match the domain shown against the post, such as software development, HPC, AI, SOC, DevOps, system administration, hardware, GIS or ETL.

Project Manager

• Qualification: Engineering degree or PG qualification in the relevant technology/project domain, with 60% marks where the post asks for it.
• Experience: C-DAC expects relevant post-qualification experience where the post requires it. Experience certificates must clearly show your period of work, role and salary details.

Age Limit

• Project Engineer: Upper age limit is 45 years for most Project Engineer rows.
• Senior Project Engineer / Project Leader: Upper age limit is 40 years.
• Project Manager: Upper age limit is 56 years.
• Age reference date: Age and experience are counted as on the last date of application, 20 June 2026.
• Relaxation: SC, ST, OBC, PwD, Ex-Servicemen and government employees get relaxation as per Government of India rules.

Salary

• Project Engineer: CTC starts from Rs. 4.49 LPA onwards.
• Senior Project Engineer / Project Leader: CTC starts from Rs. 8.49 LPA onwards.
• Project Manager: CTC starts from Rs. 12.63 LPA onwards.
• Higher experience: C-DAC may offer higher salary within the post bracket as per its policy.

Selection Process

Contract Terms and Location Notes

This C-DAC recruitment is for project-based contractual positions, not regular permanent posts. The initial engagement can be up to 3 years or until the project ends, and it may be extended only when performance and project requirement support it.

• Transfer/deputation: C-DAC may assign selected candidates to another project or project location across India.
• Multiple applications: If you want to apply for more than one post, you need to submit a separate online application for each post.
