BRIC-National Agri-Food and Biomanufacturing Institute (BRIC-NABI), Mohali is inviting applications under the Prime Minister's Research Fellowship (PMRF/PMRC) Scheme 2026. BRIC-NABI PMRC Research Fellowship 2026

BRIC-National Agri-Food and Biomanufacturing Institute (BRIC-NABI) is an autonomous institute under the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Government of India. The institute works on agri-food biotechnology — areas like translational research, biofortification, designer crops, and functional foods that improve nutrition and build sustainable food systems. This is not a regular vacancy notice — it is an open call under the PMRC scheme for top scientists with a strong record of high-impact publications, patents, technology development, or product innovation that fits NABI's research areas.

Who Can Apply?

• You should be an outstanding scientist currently working abroad.
• You must have a strong track record — high-impact research publications, patents, technology development, or product innovation.
• Your work should match BRIC-NABI's research focus on agri-food biotechnology (biofortification, designer crops, functional foods, sustainable food systems).
• You can apply under any one of three categories: Young Research Fellow, Senior Fellow, or Research Chair.

Salary

• The fellowship amount is paid as per the Prime Minister's Research Fellowship (PMRC) Scheme 2026.

Selection Process

Selection is based on the quality of your work and your proposal:

3. Final Selection: Done as per the rules of the PMRC Scheme 2026.
