Bengaluru Rural DC Typist Recruitment 2026: Overview
The Principal District and Sessions Court, Bengaluru Rural District is recruiting Typists for its district court unit through direct recruitment. The drive includes both fresh and backlog positions under the Karnataka subordinate court recruitment rules.
This is a regular court establishment appointment with probation and service requirements after joining. You should also note the special reservation conditions for the backlog positions, since those conditions differ from the fresh recruitment roster.
Service Conditions and Caveats
- Probation: Appointed candidates serve a two-year probation period under the Karnataka service probation rules. During that period, you must clear the prescribed departmental, Kannada language and computer literacy examinations.

- Travel: You must meet your own expenses when attending the recruitment proceedings. The notice does not provide reimbursement for those visits.
- Conduct: False claims, altered records or attempts to use improper means can cancel your candidature and can lead to criminal or disciplinary action.

- Disability medical certificate in the prescribed format
- Applicable age-concession and military discharge certificates
- Conduct certificates from 2 respectable persons issued within 6 months, plus the last educational institution
- For serving candidates: NOC from the competent authority within 30 days of the selection list, to be produced when directed
- Downloaded admit card and original photo ID for the test/interview
- Originals of relevant certificates, valid at the closing date, for verification
