The Department of AYUSH, Government of Telangana, Ranga Reddy District is engaging medical, pharmacy, counselling, yoga and support staff for public health programmes under the National AYUSH Mission (NAM). These are outsourced engagements under the administrative control of the Director, Department of AYUSH, Secunderabad. The district notice brings the different roles together under a common recruitment exercise, with a separate on-call arrangement for counselling services.

Posts and Disciplines

• AYUSH Medical Officer: This is the medical role in the district programme, placed in the multi-zonal cadre under the notice.
• Pharmacist: The pharmacy post comes under the zonal cadre. Its appointment unit differs from the district-cadre support and specialist service posts.
• Psychosocial Counselor: This counselling role uses an empanelment and on-call arrangement. Engagement depends on when the programme needs the service.
• Yoga Professional: The yoga post is a district-cadre engagement within the same AYUSH public health programme.
• Multi-Purpose Worker: This support category also belongs to the district cadre, alongside the other district-level service roles in the notice.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Tenure: The opening of the notice places the work up to 31 March 2027. Another clause describes an initial one-year engagement; confirm the applicable term in your appointment offer. Further continuation depends on need and satisfactory performance.
• Counselling arrangement: The committee may create a panel and call on members when services are needed. The notice describes at least 200 visits in a year for this on-call role.
• Local reservation: The appointment table specifies 95% local reservation. Community, disability and ex-servicemen reservation follow the applicable Telangana service rules and Presidential Order.
• Choice of district: Medical Officer applicants may apply within the relevant multi-zone, and Pharmacist applicants within the relevant zone. For each of these categories, selection is restricted to one district.
