Atal Vidyalaya PGT and TGT Recruitment 2026: Overview

Atal Awasiya Vidyalaya, Muzaffarnagar is building a guest-faculty panel for its residential school at Gram Nangla Bujurg, Tehsil Jansath, for the 2026-27 academic session. The engagement covers postgraduate and trained-graduate teaching across humanities, commerce, mathematics, social studies and Sanskrit. These are short-term school appointments rather than regular cadre posts, making the drive best suited to teachers who can join promptly and work within a residential-school routine.

The school works under the Atal Awasiya Vidyalaya Samiti, Uttar Pradesh, with the Muzaffarnagar selection committee handling this local recruitment. Your subject degree, teacher-training qualification and ability to teach through Hindi and English must align with the role selected. Residential-school experience and computer knowledge can strengthen your profile because the attached engagement rules treat them as desirable qualities.

Posts and Disciplines

  • PGT Mathematics: teach senior-secondary mathematics, plan subject practice and support board-level preparation.
  • PGT Economics and Sociology: handle senior-secondary social-science teaching with concept-based lessons, discussion and written work.
  • PGT Commerce: separate roles cover Business Studies and Accountancy, so your postgraduate subject background should match the option selected.
  • TGT Social Studies: teach the prescribed mix of history, geography, economics and political science at middle and secondary levels.
  • TGT Sanskrit: teach Sanskrit language and literature while supporting grammar, reading and written expression.

Post-wise Duties

Post Graduate Teachers

You will take senior classes in your chosen subject, prepare lesson plans and assessments, and give learners subject-specific academic guidance. PGTs should also help the school organise revision, enrichment work and progress tracking for board-oriented classes.

Trained Graduate Teachers

You will build core subject understanding through classroom lessons, exercises and regular feedback. The residential setting also calls for consistent student mentoring and coordination with other teachers beyond the timetable.

Service Conditions and Caveats

  • Tenure: the guest-faculty engagement is completely contractual and runs only up to 31 March 2027.
  • Residential setting: you should be ready for the academic and mentoring rhythm of a residential school.
  • Medium of teaching: competence in both Hindi and English is part of the teaching requirement.
  • Travel: no TA is payable for counselling or interview attendance.
  • Post strength: the committee may increase or reduce the requirement according to the school's needs.
  • Form quality: unsigned, incomplete, unclear or non-standard applications can be rejected.

Application Submission Notes

Send or deliver the prescribed form to Office of the Assistant Labour Commissioner, near Kendriya Vidyalaya, Circular Road, Muzaffarnagar. The notice accepts delivery by speed post, courier or in person; ordinary post received after the cut-off is not accepted. • Prepare lesson plans, exercises, assessments and student progress records
  • Guide students in subject revision, projects and examination preparation
