Acharya N.G. Ranga Agricultural University (ANGRAU) is filling 15 Teaching Associate and Teaching Assistant posts across its Polytechnic of Agriculture colleges in the Scarce Rainfall Zone, under the Regional Agricultural Research Station (RARS), Nandyal. The posts cover four colleges — Nandyal, Reddipalli, Ramagiri and Madakasira — and are meant to staff the diploma-level agriculture teaching programme in this drought-prone belt of Andhra Pradesh. These are purely temporary and contractual engagements filled through a single walk-in interview rather than an online application process. Agriculture graduates and postgraduates from ICAR-accredited institutions who meet the qualification for either post can attend.

Posts and Disciplines

• Teaching Associate: the senior faculty tier, spread across all four colleges under this drive — Nandyal, Reddipalli, Ramagiri and Madakasira — meant for candidates with a doctoral or postgraduate agriculture qualification and a teaching or research background.
• Teaching Assistant: the entry-level faculty tier at the same four colleges, suited to fresh agriculture graduates starting their teaching career.

All qualifying degrees must come from ICAR-accredited universities or colleges only — degrees from non-accredited institutions will not be considered.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Contract length: the engagement ends automatically after 11 months, with no claim to a regular appointment or further continuation.
• Documents: bring all original certificates and mark sheets from matriculation onward, plus one self-attested photocopy set and your experience certificates, to the interview.
• Termination: the university can end your engagement at any time without notice, and you can also resign by giving one month's notice.
• No TA/DA: no travel or daily allowance is paid for attending the interview.
• Medical fitness: selected candidates must clear a medical examination, at their own cost, before joining.
• Canvassing: concealing facts or canvassing in any form disqualifies your candidature, even after selection.

Application Submission Notes

There is no online application for this recruitment. Attend the walk-in interview at the Office of the Associate Director of Research, RARS, Nandyal district, starting 10:30 AM on the scheduled date. Only candidates who already meet the essential qualification need to attend — carry your original documents along with self-attested copies for verification on the spot.
