Acharya N.G. Ranga Agricultural University (ANGRAU), a leading State Agricultural University in Andhra Pradesh, has released a walk-in interview notice for the post of Research Associate (Agronomy) under the All India Coordinated Research Project (AICRP) on Groundnut. The selected candidate will work at Agricultural Research Station, Kadiri, conducting agronomy experiments, Front Line Demonstrations (FLDs), and seed production activities. This is a purely temporary, ICAR-funded contractual post for 11 months only.

Who Can Apply?

• Essential Qualification: Ph.D in Agronomy OR M.Sc (Ag) in Agronomy with 1st Division or overall grade point average, along with 4/5 years of B.Sc (Ag).
• Institution: All relevant degrees must be completed in ICAR-accredited Universities/Colleges.
• Experience: 3 years of experience as evidence from fellowship/associateship/training/other engagements.
• Research Publication: At least one Research Paper in a Science Citation Index (SCI) or NAAS-rated (>4.0) Journal.
• Candidates already employed elsewhere must produce a No Objection Certificate from their employer.

Age Limit

• Maximum age: 40 years for Men
• Maximum age: 45 years for Women

Salary

• Rs. 67,000 per month + HRA for Ph.D holders
• Rs. 61,000 per month + HRA for Masters Degree holders
• HRA will be paid as per existing State Government rates applicable to the place of working.

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Selection is purely based on a walk-in interview:

1. Document Verification: Candidates must bring all original certificates and supporting documents to the venue.
2. Walk-in Interview: Only candidates having the essential qualifications will be entertained for the interview. The selection committee's decision is final and binding.
