RCB Project JRF Amoebiasis Recruitment 2026: Overview
Regional Centre for Biotechnology (RCB) is hiring a Project Junior Research Fellow (Project-JRF) for an amoebiasis research project at Faridabad in Haryana. Responsibilities
- Assist with experiments studying the Entamoeba histolytica ribosome as a possible drug target.
- Prepare gene-cloning experiments for the project's research work.
- Support protein purification and record the experimental conditions.
- Assist with ribosome purification and sample preparation.
- Support cryo-electron microscopy work under the research team's guidance.
- Keep clear experiment records and communicate findings to the principal investigator.
Eligibility Criteria
Minimum Qualification
M.Sc. in Life Sciences with at least 60% marks in the master's or equivalent degree and NET, DBT-JRF, GATE or an equivalent examination cleared.
Preferred Qualification
Research experience in gene cloning, protein purification, ribosome purification and cryo-electron microscopy.
Required Skills
Desirable: good oral and written communication skills and strong motivation for a research career.
