National Institute of Technology Andhra Pradesh (NIT Andhra Pradesh) is hiring Civil Engineers for a consultancy assignment managed by its Department of Civil Engineering. The work supports Third Party Quality Assurance (TPQA) for a green building and other facilities at the Zoological Survey of India's Eastern Ghats Regional Centre in Amaravati, Andhra Pradesh.

The sponsor is the Office of the Executive Engineer, Civil Engineering Division III, Civil Construction Unit, under the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change. Dr. Shaik Mahabu Subhani leads the consultancy, with Dr. Subhajit Sen as co-principal consultant, and your engagement is tied to this construction project, which covers both the green building and the other amenities planned for the regional centre.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Project tenure: The assignment runs for 18 months or until the project finishes. Your appointment is linked to the project, so consider that limited period when deciding whether the role fits your plans.
• Employment status: Joining this assignment does not give you a claim to a regular position at the institute. The notice treats the project engagement separately from regular institute employment.
• Work assignments: Institute rules apply after you join. Depending on the project's needs, you may receive work within or outside the institute, so the role can involve duties beyond the campus.
• Travel for interview: The institute will not pay travel or daily allowance for attending the interview. You will need to make your own arrangements if the interview involves travel.
• Accuracy of information: The institute can check your background and supporting records at appointment or during service. False records or concealed information can lead to termination and legal action.
• Corrections to recruitment decisions: If the institute finds an error in the recruitment process, it can change, withdraw or cancel its earlier communication, including after an appointment letter has been issued.
• Conduct: Trying to influence the recruitment through political or other contacts leads to disqualification. The institute's decision will be final if a dispute or ambiguity arises.
