• All Constable posts, Firemen (PC), Followers in some categories, Mechanics: Level 3, Rs. 21,700 to Rs. 69,100
• Nursing Assistant (IRBn): Level 2, Rs. 19,900 to Rs. 63,200
• Follower posts (Cook, Tailor, Barber, Washerman, Carpenter, Daftry, Messenger), Diesel Mechanic, Safaikaramchari: Level 1, Rs. 18,000 to Rs. 56,900

Physical Standards

Physical Measurement and Endurance Test (PM&ET) will be scheduled and conducted by Andaman & Nicobar Police at different centres in the islands. PM&ET is only qualifying in nature. Detailed standards are available in the complete Recruitment Notice on police.andamannicobar.gov.in.

Selection Process

1. Online Application Submission — through erecruitment.andamannicobar.gov.in
2. Physical Measurement and Endurance Test (PM&ET) — qualifying in nature, conducted at centres in A&N Islands
3. Written Examination — either tab/computer based or sheet based, conducted in English and/or Hindi only
4. Trade Test (wherever applicable) — at centres in Sri Vijaya Puram
5. Document Verification — only candidates qualifying earlier stages will have originals collected
6. Final Result — declared by Police Department based on performance in written exam and trade test (where applicable)
