SVPNPA Outsourcing Recruitment 2026 - 6 Posts

Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel National Police Academy (SVPNPA), under the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, has released a notice inviting applications for filling up 6 vacant posts on outsourcing basis. The Academy is the premier training institution for Indian Police Service (IPS) probationers, located at Shivarampally, Hyderabad. These posts are mainly meant for retired government servants — fixed monthly remuneration is paid as per Govt of India OM No.3-25/2020-E.III.A dated 09.12.2020. The contract is purely on outsourcing basis up to 30.09.2026 or till the post is filled on regular basis, whichever is earlier.

Vacancy Breakdown by Post

• Stenographer Grade-II: 2 posts — Rs. 45,186 per month
• System Administrator: 1 post — Rs. 1,27,633 per month
• Language Instructor: 1 post — Rs. 70,290 per month
• Assistant (Ministerial): 1 post — Pay as per Govt of India OM dated 09.12.2020
• Network Administrator: 1 post — Rs. 45,384 per month

Note: For retired Government servants, the remuneration is regulated under the Department of Expenditure OM dated 09.12.2020. The fixed remuneration figures will not be changed.

Who Can Apply?

System Administrator (Rs. 1,27,633/month)

• Qualification: Master's degree in Computer Application/Computer Science/M.Sc (Computer Science) or Information Technology, OR BE/B.Tech in Computer Engineering/Computer Science/Computer Technology/Computer Science and Engineering/Information Technology from a recognised University or Institute
• Experience: 5 years post-qualification experience in System Administration (configuration and maintenance of servers, storage, database) in a Government Office, PSU, Autonomous Body, Statutory Body or recognised institution
• Desirable: Experience in LAN/WAN, web technologies (Apache, IIS, PHP, HTML, Python), and network/information security

Language Instructor (Rs. 70,290/month)

• Qualification: Bachelor's Degree in Telugu, Assamese, Urdu, Kannada, Bengali, Marathi, Manipuri, Nagamese, Oriya, Tamil, Gujarati, Punjabi, Nepali, Malayalam or English from a recognised university/institution
• Experience: 1 year experience teaching the specified language
• Desirable: B.Ed degree from a recognised university/institution

Assistant (Ministerial)

• Eligibility: Officials retired from Government service holding analogous post on regular basis in Ministerial Cadre at Level-6 in the Pay Matrix and above, OR retired Upper Division Clerk with 10 years regular service in Level-4 in the Pay Matrix

Network Administrator (Rs. 45,384/month)

• Qualification: 12th standard pass with Science and Mathematics subjects from a recognised Board with a one-year diploma in computer applications (or equivalent A-level certificate) OR Diploma in Electronics & Communication or Information Technology OR Bachelor's degree in Electronics/Computer Science/Communication/IT/Computer Applications
• Experience: 2 years' experience in networking from a recognised public institution
• Desirable: Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) with 2 years of experience

Stenographer Grade-II (Rs. 45,186/month)

• Qualification: 12th class pass or equivalent from a Government recognised Board or university
• Skill Test Norms: Dictation 10 minutes at 80 words per minute; transcription 50 minutes (English) or 65 minutes (Hindi) on computer
• Desirable: 1 year of working experience as Stenographer in any Government Office, PSU or Autonomous Body

Age Limit

• Maximum age should not exceed 64 years as on 01 April 2026.
• The posts are mainly aimed at retired Government servants, so there is effectively no minimum age constraint beyond eligibility for retirement.

Salary

• System Administrator: Rs. 1,27,633 per month (fixed)
• Language Instructor: Rs. 70,290 per month (fixed)
• Assistant (Ministerial): Fixed monthly remuneration/leave etc. as per Govt of India, Ministry of Finance, Department of Expenditure OM No.3-25/2020-E.III.A dated 09.12.2020
• Network Administrator: Rs. 45,384 per month (fixed)
• Stenographer Grade-II: Rs. 45,186 per month (fixed)
• For retired Government servants, the remuneration is regulated under the Department of Expenditure OM dated 09.12.2020 (last drawn pay minus pension).

Selection Process

The selection will be made through the following steps:

1. Screening of Applications: Only eligible candidates with complete and signed applications and the required documents are shortlisted.
2. Skill Test (for Stenographer Grade-II): Shorthand dictation at 80 wpm and transcription on computer (50 minutes English or 65 minutes Hindi).
3. Interview/Suitability Test: Shortlisted candidates are called for an interview by SVPNPA.
4. Document Verification: Original certificates checked along with experience and pension proof for retired employees.

The Academy reserves the right to cancel the entire selection process without assigning any reason.

1. Download the application form from the official website svpnpa.gov.in.
2. Fill in the application form in your own handwriting in BLOCK letters and paste a passport-size photograph.
3. Attach self-attested copies of educational and technical qualification certificates, date of birth proof and experience certificates.
4. Retired government servants must also attach Pension Payment Order (PPO), copy of identity card issued by the previous employer, and the Last Pay Certificate.
5. Send the filled-in application by post so that it reaches the Deputy Director (Estt), SVP National Police Academy, Shivarampally, Hyderabad – 500 052, Telangana on or before 25 May 2026.

Incomplete, incorrect or unsigned applications and applications sent without copies of required documents/photo will be rejected.

• Assist Administrative Officer and Superintendent in general supervision of the section (Assistant Ministerial)
• Maintain office records, attend telephone calls and prepare daily reports as per the post
• Carry out any other duties assigned by the competent authority
