ALRARI Yoga Therapist Recruitment 2026: Overview

Dr. A. Lakshmipathi Regional Ayurveda Research Institute (ALRARI), Chennai is engaging a Yoga Therapist for a project studying how a yoga regimen can be added to usual Ayurveda treatment for selected musculoskeletal conditions. The institute works under the Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS), Ministry of Ayush. The work forms part of a multicentre health-systems implementation study across CCRAS institutes, with this engagement based at ALRARI in Chennai.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Project appointment: The contract is expected to run for approximately nine months or until the project finishes. The engagement ends with the project, so you should assess it as a project-linked opportunity.
• Early closure: The competent authority can shorten the engagement after considering your performance. The approximate duration should therefore not be read as an unconditional guarantee of service for the entire period.
• No regular appointment claim: Joining this project does not give you a right to continued service or a regular appointment at the institute. The notice makes this limitation part of the engagement terms.
• Travel costs: You will not receive travel or daily allowance for attending the walk-in. Plan your visit with this condition in mind.
• Joining undertaking: If selected, you must give an undertaking on non-judicial stamp paper along with your joining report.
• Recruitment decisions: The selection committee can accept or reject an application without giving a reason. The Assistant Director-in-Charge can also postpone or cancel the test and interview.
