AIIMS Raebareli Senior Resident Recruitment 2026: Overview

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Initial term: Your appointment starts with a six-month ad-hoc term from joining. An extension depends on the Executive Director’s decision. Without an extension, the appointment ends automatically.
• Ending the appointment: Either side can end the engagement at any time without notice. Consider this condition alongside the initial term before accepting an offer.
• Exclusive employment: You must work whole-time for the institute. You cannot take another paid or unpaid assignment or engage in private practice during the appointment.
• Regular appointment: This engagement gives you no claim to a regular AIIMS Raebareli post. The ad-hoc cadre will not merge with the institute’s regular cadre.
• Service benefits: The notice excludes regular government-service benefits such as provident fund, pension, gratuity, medical attendance treatment, seniority and promotion. Regular faculty facilities and allowances do not automatically apply to this appointment.
• Reservation: Government of India policy applies, with horizontal reservation for persons with disabilities. If no EWS applicant is available or attends, the notice allows that category’s post to be filled through UR.
• Institute discretion: The advertised positions are provisional. AIIMS may change the number of posts or cancel the recruitment according to its needs.
• Other service conditions: Ad-hoc service rules and the specified government leave instructions apply. On appointment, you must take the prescribed oath or affirmation of allegiance to the Constitution of India.
• Travel costs: The institute will not pay travel or daily allowance for attending the interview or joining. False information or deliberate omission can lead to removal and further action.
