AIIMS Raipur State IYCF Coordinator Recruitment 2026: Overview

All India Institute of Medical Sciences Raipur (AIIMS Raipur) is recruiting a State Infant and Young Child Feeding (IYCF) Coordinator for its State Centre of Excellence for Nutrition Interventions (SCoE4N), within the Department of Pediatrics. The centre supports Chhattisgarh's work on malnutrition and anaemia, including feeding practices and care for children with severe acute malnutrition. This grant-funded contractual assignment connects the centre with state departments, districts and programme partners.

Service Conditions and Caveats

• Programme setting: The position is supported through United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) and National Health Mission (NHM) grants under the relevant agreement. You will work within a programme that links facility-based care with community nutrition support.
• Contract period: The planned assignment runs from 1 November 2026 to 30 April 2027. It does not place you on the AIIMS Raipur regular payroll or give you a claim to permanent appointment.
• Probation: The first 30 days are a probation period. Continued engagement after probation depends on a satisfactory performance review by the Programme Director.
• Renewal: Any further extension depends on your performance, available funding and the programme's continuing need for the post. The contract ends automatically unless both sides agree to renew it.
• Ending the contract: Either side may end the appointment by giving 30 days' notice or salary instead of that notice. This condition applies during the contractual engagement.
• Joining: The selected applicant is expected to join within 15 days of the result. Requests for more time are considered individually against the centre's requirements.
• Leave: The six-month term provides 7.5 days of leave on a proportionate basis, including medical, casual and other leave. You cannot carry leave forward or claim leave encashment.
• Conduct: Private practice is prohibited. You must follow the institute's conduct and discipline rules as well as the organisation's child-protection policy during the assignment.
• Travel arrangements: The institute will not pay travel or daily allowance for attending the interview or joining. It also does not provide hostel or other accommodation for the recruitment visit.
