About This Job

Apply for Project Technical Support-I at AIIMS Gorakhpur. Relevant graduate with experience. Salary: Rs 21,600. Last date: 1 Oct 2026. Walk-in.

AIIMS Gorakhpur Project Technical Support I Recruitment 2026: Overview

All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Gorakhpur is hiring project staff for a study in its Department of Community & Family Medicine. The study looks at anti-retroviral therapy adherence and retention among people living with HIV in Uttar Pradesh, and ways to improve both. The work combines facility-based research methods and is funded by the Uttar Pradesh State AIDS Control Society (UPSACS) and the National AIDS Control Organisation (NACO).

This Project Technical Support-I engagement is tied to the research project. Your base will be AIIMS Gorakhpur, with travel to other study sites when the project needs it. The qualification table calls the role Project Technician-I, while the vacancy table uses Project Technical Support-I.

Service Conditions and Caveats

  • Project tenure: The engagement lasts for 3 months. It does not create a right to a regular job at AIIMS Gorakhpur, the funding agency or another government organisation.
  • Future assignments: Working on this project, or on several projects with or without breaks, does not give you a claim to another assignment, transfer or absorption into regular service.
  • Work location: Staff will normally work at the study site. The institute can place you at another site when the research needs it, so you should be ready for project-related travel.
  • Project allocation: The competent authority decides which project successful applicants will work on. The notice leaves that decision to the authority.
  • Early ending: The institute can end the engagement during the agreed term. If the principal investigator finds your performance unsatisfactory, the appointment can end without advance notice or compensation.
  • Benefits and leave: This temporary engagement does not include provident fund, Leave Travel Concession or medical-claim benefits. Leave follows the institute's guidelines.
  • Joining: If selected, you must join within 15 days after the results are declared. Keep that joining condition in mind when considering the assignment.
  • Interview expenses: You must arrange your own travel and accommodation. The institute will not pay travel or daily allowance for attending.
  • Recruitment changes: AIIMS may change, cancel or withdraw the process and is not bound to fill the advertised positions. The interview committee's decision is final.
  • Accuracy and conduct: Incorrect information can disqualify you at any stage. Trying to influence shortlisting or appointment can also lead to disqualification.
