The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi has released an advertisement for two Project Research Scientist-I (B.Tech) posts under the ICMR-funded project I-1945, titled "Reducing Treatment Gap Through AI - Development and Validation of a Multilingual AI-Voice Agent (Converse-AI) for Detection of Common Mental Disorders". This is a fully technical role for engineers who want to build real-world AI and voice technology in a leading medical research setting. Fresh B.Tech graduates with AI, Python or full-stack skills are encouraged to apply.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: Four-year graduate degree (B.Tech) in Engineering / Information Technology / Computer Science.
• Age: Maximum 35 years.

Desirable skills (any one set):

• Python-based AI development, LLM APIs or open-source LLMs, STT/STS/Multimodal work, Chatbot/RAG development, backend deployment, and data cleaning/evaluation.
• OR full-stack development, backend APIs, database design, Git, deployment basics and data export, plus mobile app integration, sensor data capture, EMA workflows and longitudinal data analysis.

Age Limit

• You should be a maximum of 35 years old to apply.

Salary

• Selected candidates will get Rs. 56,000 per month plus 30% HRA, which comes to Rs. 72,800 per month.
• The pay is fixed as per ICMR guidelines.

Selection Process

The selection is done through:

1. Interview: Only shortlisted candidates who meet the criteria will be called for the interview.
2. Document Verification: Bring your original documents at the time of the interview.

No TA/DA is provided for appearing in the interview. The tenure is 6 months initially and can be extended up to 3 years based on performance.
