All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi (AIIMS New Delhi) has released a notification for 1 Project Research Scientist III (Medical) post in the Department of Psychiatry. This is a contract post under an ICMR-funded research project (Project I-1945) titled "Reducing Treatment Gap Through AI - Development and Validation of a Multilingual AI-Voice Agent (Converse-AI) for Detection of Common Mental Disorders". This is a strong chance for a psychiatrist to work on a modern AI-based mental health research project at India's top medical institute. The job starts for 6 months and can be extended up to 4 years based on your performance.

Who Can Apply?

• Qualification: MBBS with an MD in Psychiatry (including integrated postgraduate degrees).
• Experience: 3 years of post-qualification experience.

This role is best suited for a qualified psychiatrist who wants to lead clinical research on an AI-driven mental health project.

Age Limit

• The maximum age limit is 45 years.
• Age relaxation, if any, will be as per ICMR and AIIMS project rules.

Salary

• You will get a basic pay of Rs. 93,000 per month plus House Rent Allowance (HRA) at 30%.
• Your total monthly salary will be Rs. 1,20,900 per month, as per ICMR guidelines.

Selection Process

The selection will be done through an interview:

1. Shortlisting: Only eligible candidates will be shortlisted from the online applications.
2. Interview: Shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview. No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
3. Document Verification: You must bring all your original documents at the time of the interview.

If you are found ineligible at any stage, your appointment will be cancelled.
