All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Bhubaneswar, a statutory body under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, is hiring Project Technical Support staff for an ICMR-funded clinical research project. The project studies the treatment of osteoporosis in children with transfusion-dependent thalassemia and is a Phase III multicentric randomized controlled trial. No written exam is required — candidates are selected purely through a walk-in interview. Who Can Apply?

For Project Technical Support-III (Rs 28,000/month):

• Option 1: You need a three-year Graduate Degree plus three years of post-qualification experience in a relevant field
• Option 2: You need a Post Graduate (PG) degree in a relevant subject or field

For Project Technical Support-II (Rs 20,000/month):

• Option 1: You need 12th in Science plus a Diploma in MLT/DMLT and 5 years of experience in a relevant field
• Option 2: You need a three-year Graduate Degree in a relevant field plus 2 years of experience in a relevant subject

Qualification and experience must be in a relevant discipline from a recognized institution. Experience counts only after acquiring the minimum essential qualification.

Persons already serving in regular government positions are not eligible to apply.

Age Limit

• Project Technical Support-III: Maximum 35 years
• Project Technical Support-II: Maximum 30 years
• Age as on: Date of Walk-in Interview (02 April 2026)
• Age Relaxation: SC/ST/OBC/PwBD candidates get relaxation as per Government of India rules

Salary

• Project Technical Support-III: Rs 28,000 per month plus 20% HRA
• Project Technical Support-II: Rs 20,000 per month plus 20% HRA
• This is a contractual position for 11 months, extendable based on your performance
• Benefits like PF, Pension, LTC, and Medical Claims are not available for contract staff

Selection Process (No Written Exam)

Selection is done in a single stage:

1. Walk-in Interview: You will be interviewed in person at AIIMS Bhubaneswar. Your educational qualifications, experience, and suitability for the research project will be assessed. Video conferencing option is also available.
2. Document Verification: Your original documents will be checked before the interview. If any discrepancy is found, you will not be allowed to appear.

Mere fulfillment of qualifications does not guarantee selection. The decision of the Director, AIIMS Bhubaneswar is final.

• Conduct periodic audits of project activities and prepare monthly summaries
• Manage project funding, purchases, salary disbursements, and account audits
