All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Bhubaneswar (AIIMS BBSR) is hiring Project Technical Assistants for a study on the economic evaluation of Antimicrobial Stewardship (AMS) and Infection Prevention and Control (IPC) interventions in Indian healthcare facilities. Service Conditions and Caveats

• Contract period: The advertised tenure is 8 months. Any continuation depends on the project’s needs, your performance and approval from the competent authority; an extension is not automatic.
• Project appointment: Joining this study gives you no claim to a regular position at AIIMS, the funding agency or another government department. It also creates no right to transfer to another project or receive a further assignment.
• Joining undertaking: You must accept the stated limits of the contractual engagement through an undertaking when you join. Read these terms alongside the appointment conditions before accepting the post.
• Ending the contract: Either side may give one month of notice. The institute may end the contract immediately, or before that notice ends, by paying the equivalent of one month’s contractual amount. You cannot pay instead of serving your notice period; you must serve it in full.
• Leave: Your leave follows the funding agency’s or institute’s policy for AIIMS BBSR contract staff. The notice links this benefit to the applicable contractual staff rules.
• Accuracy of information: False information can lead to disqualification at any point. You remain responsible for the details you provide throughout recruitment.
• Joining conditions: If the institute finds discrepancies in your supporting records, or you cannot present the originals when joining, it may offer the position to a waiting-list candidate instead.
• Institute’s decision: AIIMS may change or cancel recruitment during the process. The Director’s decision on accepting or rejecting candidature is final, and attempts to influence recruitment lead to disqualification.
