Tamil Nadu Newsprint and Papers Limited (TNPL), a Government of Tamil Nadu Enterprise and a leading manufacturer of Paper, Packaging Board and Cement with an annual turnover exceeding Rs. 4,500 Crores, has invited applications for 7 managerial positions across its Corporate Office in Chennai and manufacturing facilities in Karur and Trichy districts. This recruitment covers 5 different posts ranging from General Manager level to Assistant Manager level, spanning production, marketing, and laboratory functions. Who Can Apply?

For General Manager - Production (Paper Board & Tissue):

• Qualification: First Class full-time B.E./B.Tech in Chemical Engineering, Chemical Technology, or Pulp and Paper Technology. Alternatively, a full-time Arts/Science degree with First Class full-time PG Diploma in Pulp and Paper Technology.
• Experience: At least 29 years of post-qualification experience in a large continuous process plant, with hands-on experience in Multilayer Coated Paper Board machine and Tissue Machine operations.

For Deputy General Manager (Cement Marketing):

• Qualification: First Class full-time Engineering Degree with First Class MBA (Marketing) or PG Diploma in Marketing Management. Or, First Class Arts/Science/Commerce degree with First Class MBA (Marketing). Or, First Class full-time MBA (Marketing) alone.
• Experience: At least 26 years of post-qualification experience in Cement Marketing.

For Assistant General Manager (Marketing - Paper) - Southern Region:

• Qualification: Same qualification options as DGM (Cement Marketing) above.
• Experience: At least 23 years of post-qualification experience in Paper Marketing.

For Assistant Manager (Cement Marketing):

• Qualification: Same qualification options as DGM (Cement Marketing) above.
• Experience: At least 8 years of post-qualification experience in Cement Marketing.

For Assistant Manager (Laboratory):

• Qualification: First Class 3-year full-time B.Sc. and First Class 2-year full-time M.Sc. (Chemistry). Or, First Class full-time B.E./B.Tech in Pulp and Paper Technology. Or, full-time Science degree with First Class PG Diploma in Pulp and Paper Technology.
• Experience: At least 8 years of post-qualification experience in a laboratory at an integrated Pulp & Paper / Multilayer Double Coated Board Mill and Tissue Plant.

Age Limit

Age is calculated as on 1st March 2026 (1st of the month in which the advertisement is released).

General Manager - Production:

• GT: 49 to 55 years
• BC/BCM/MBC/DNC: 49 to 57 years
• SC/SCA/ST: 49 to 57 years

Deputy General Manager (Cement Marketing):

• GT: 46 to 55 years
• BC/BCM/MBC/DNC: 46 to 57 years
• SC/SCA/ST: 46 to 57 years

Assistant General Manager (Marketing - Paper):

• GT: 43 to 50 years
• BC/BCM/MBC/DNC: 43 to 53 years
• SC/SCA/ST: 43 to 55 years

Assistant Manager (Cement Marketing & Laboratory):

• GT: 28 to 40 years
• BC/BCM/MBC/DNC: 28 to 43 years
• SC/SCA/ST: 28 to 45 years

Age and experience may be relaxed up to 2 years in deserving cases.

Salary

• General Manager - Production: Rs. 1,02,500 to Rs. 2,14,790 per month (Pay Scale: Rs. 1,02,500-3%-2,14,790)
• Deputy General Manager (Cement Marketing): Rs. 86,600 to Rs. 1,81,500 per month (Pay Scale: Rs. 86,600-3%-1,81,500)
• Assistant General Manager (Marketing - Paper): Rs. 70,100 to Rs. 1,46,960 per month (Pay Scale: Rs. 70,100-3%-1,46,960)
• Assistant Manager (Cement Marketing & Laboratory): Rs. 31,100 to Rs. 65,350 per month (Pay Scale: Rs. 31,100-3%-65,350)
• You will also receive DA, HRA, and other allowances as per company rules.

Selection Process

Selection will be based on:
